GADO Organization recently organized a comprehensive information-gathering session with community elders from internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in Garasbaley District, Banadir Region.
The discussions centered on critical protection issues, including access to education, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and healthcare services for the displaced communities.
During the session, elders shared valuable insights into the pressing challenges faced by the IDPs, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced education opportunities for children, protection measures against GBV, and improved healthcare access. Their perspectives play a crucial role in shaping GADO’s response strategies to meet the needs of these vulnerable populations effectively.
This initiative underscores GADO’s commitment to addressing the protection concerns of marginalized groups, ensuring inclusive access to basic services, and fostering resilience among displaced communities.
Together, we are working towards a future where every individual has access to education, safety, and healthcare, regardless of their circumstances.
