Global Aid and Development Organization (GADO) was founded in July 2019 with the mission to transform lives in rural Somalia. Our work is guided by the principle of fostering social cohesion and inclusivity among all people. GADO is registered and authorized to operate in Banadir, Lower Shabelle, Hirshabelle, Bay, Gedo, Lower Juba, and Middle Juba regions, working on behalf of rural communities
At GADO, we believe that lasting change begins with community-driven development. We work closely with local leaders, families, and individuals to identify their needs and implement programs that promote protection, health, education, and environmental sustainability. Our efforts are centered on creating a brighter future for all, ensuring that even the most remote and underserved areas have the opportunity to thrive.
Since our inception, GADO has made significant strides in improving access to healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities. We are dedicated to continuing this progress, with a focus on long-term solutions that build resilience and self-sufficiency within the communities we serve.

We are dedicated to creating lasting solutions to social injustices, hunger, climate change, and poverty, while also providing timely emergency responses and promoting sustainable development to ensure resilience and long-term well-being.
Our Programs We support projects and programs that support and improve environmental conservation, food security and livelihoods, health and nutrition, protection and promotion of human rights, and education in rural Somalia.
Our Objectives We aim to achieve this by providing access to essential resources, education, and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
