Together, GADO Organization and Habib Foundation Deliver Essential Medicine and Equipment for the Second Time to the MCH in Tawakal Area, Afgoye District in Partnership with the Commissioner of Social Affairs, Lower Shabelle Region, and the Ministry of Health, KGS
We are excited to share that GADO Organization and Habib Foundation have once again successfully delivered essential medicine and medical equipment to the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) facility in the Tawakal area of Afgoye District. This initiative, carried out in partnership with the Commissioner of Social Affairs for Lower Shabelle Region and the Ministry of Health, South West State of Somalia (KGS), marks the second time we've worked together to improve healthcare access for mothers and children in this vital community.
This collaborative effort showcases the incredible impact that comes from working together to address the needs of vulnerable populations. GADO Organization and Habib Foundation remain dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the Tawakal community. We are immensely grateful to our supporters, partners, and the community for making this possible.
By ensuring that the MCH in Tawakal Area is equipped with necessary medicine and equipment, we are taking concrete steps toward strengthening healthcare services in the Tawakal area.
Moreover, GBV awareness initiatives can promote gender equality and challenge harmful societal norms that perpetuate violence against women and children. By fostering discussions around respect, dignity, and equal rights, these initiatives help build a foundation for a more equitable and just society. This shift in mindset is crucial in areas like IDP camps, where the strain of crisis situations often exacerbates pre-existing inequalities. A safer, more informed community is one that can better protect its children from both gender-based and other forms of violence, ensuring their right to grow up in a secure environment.
We are proud to continue this journey with the Ministry of Health, KGS, the Commissioner of Social Affairs, and the people of Tawakal. This is only the beginning of our shared vision to create sustainable and lasting change.
Stay connected with us for future updates as we work hand in hand to uplift the health standards in Tawakal!
