GADO Organization Conducts Successful Malaria Awareness and Health Education Campaign at Balshafe Camp in Afgoye District
GADO Organization has successfully conducted an awareness and health education campaign about malaria and its treatment at Balshafe camp in Afgoye District. With the assistance of our dedicated health professionals and the incredibly welcoming and cooperative population at the camp, we performed rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs), providing much-needed relief and reassurance to the camp residents.
Our team remains committed to continuing support by offering essential malaria prevention resources, including mosquito nets and educational materials on malaria transmission and prevention. In addition, we are working to improve access to treatment and healthcare services for malaria and other common illnesses that affect vulnerable populations in the camp.
By addressing both prevention and treatment, GADO aims to reduce the incidence of malaria while promoting overall health and well-being. We are also collaborating with local health authorities to ensure that ongoing healthcare support reaches the most affected individuals, helping to enhance health outcomes and build a healthier, more resilient community.
